So, this year, I’ve accepted the 2015 Goodreads Challenge. I’ve set the bar rather low … only twenty four books. I know I can do better, but part of me thinks of my small son and says, “woman, your reading moments are far too sporadic for any thing really challenging.”
My mind is already on the books of the future. What will I read? Where do I want to go in my mind’s eye? Who will I meet on my travels?
When it comes down to it, I have a list of books that I want to read. The problem with that list is it is rather small. Only about a dozen books. Honestly, it’s a list that has been accumulating over the past couple of years (since I first had my iPhone). I’ve added and subtracted over time. I hope to have that whole list read by the end of 2015.
I am presently reading “The Oath” by Frank Peretti. Alas, I cannot count it (my mama told me so), since I began the book before the end of 2014. So, what will my first book of 2015 be? Oh, how I cannot wait to find out.
